Casey Peruski was born in a suburb of Detroit Michigan. Then, at the age of 7 his family moved to south Florida because his father was sick of the weather and the Detroit Lions. Growing up in a house that was half Irish and half Polish, we all had to have a good sense of humor or a drink. With a home always filled with laughter, Casey was drawn to the world of stand up comedy. It was his favorite thing to watch growing up.Always the funniest in the group, Casey never thought he could do what the pro’s do on TV. Until one night on his 20th birthday while attending Florida State University, Casey made his stand up debut in a hippie bar on campus.

 

Thanks to a few drinks, and being the only comedian in a music filled open mic night, Casey had them roaring! He loved the great crowd reaction and was hooked! Casey has been a comedy performer for over ten years now. Has worked with many big namecomedians like Kevin Nealon, Richard Lewis, Frank Caliendo, Carlos Mencia, Tom Arnold, Russell Peters, and Rich Vos just to name a few. Casey has performed at pretty much every Florida Club. Like the three South Florida Improv’s, Bonkerz Comedy Clubs, Comedy Castle Royal Oak Michigan, Sunrise, Atlantic
and Lyric Theatre’s.

 

Casey also hosts/books rooms and events for the past 4 years at Sunrise Theatre, and Shindigs Irish Pub. He has been guest and creative contributor for radio shows- The Jerk Show, 103.1 Morning Buzz and Jokerz Comedy Radio.Over those ten years, he has been entertaining crowds acrossthe south and mid west.  Not only in stand up, but also as a cast member in the touring “Extreme” improv troupe Name Change Pending who won best troupe at the Chicago Snub Fest and performed in the well known Chicago Improv Fest and Orlando Fringe Fest. Being half Irish and half Polish, with premature thinninghair, a love for pro wrestling, a father and married to a vegetarian yoga instructor wife, he has plenty of material! Known as the Nice Guy of comedy, he is very inviting on stage while being very funny!

Spaz is no stranger to the Treasure Coast. Whether it’s rocking in one of his bands, acting in a Broadway show, or producing and hosting a Comedy show with Casey, he is really just an entertainer at heart. Lead singer in CADILLAC KIDZ  (Detroit) CADILLAC BRATZ, SWS, and THE SPAZ BAND, He just recently played thelead role in Jekyll and Hyde at the Lyric Theatre. He also performed as Tommy in The Who’s Tommy and Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar. He has been an on air personality for WZZR as well as Christian WAY FM radio. He is a member of the praise and worship team and the Drama Director for Grace Church in Port St Lucie.Married with 4 children, but being originally from Detroit, he is proud to call The Treasure Coast his home.
